Hi I am posting to gain access to the tb installation. Bought an 06 jetta tdi with 250000 km on it . Tb had been changed at 129k and am preparing to do it again with w/p and rollers. Any suggestions of what else I should be checking on the car would be appreciated. Thanks

Welcome! By this mileage I would also check the camshaft for wear. This is a common problem, the procedure is in the FAQ. If it needs replacement the TB replacement is the obvious time to do it or else you'll have to redo most of the TB procedure again later.

Also take a look at the 2005-2006 buying guide for Jetta, there are lists of catch up maintenance and a few common problems , like the trans fill hole being too low.
