First and foremost, this site will always be free to use so don't worry about subscriptions.
I added a members only to encourage forum membership. Anyone with a confirmed email address can view the content.
Within that section, I put an exclusive content section where some of the harder work that I do will go. To view the content you must have at least one post. It can take 10 minutes for your post to count towards access so please be patient and surf the site while it goes through. I hope this will encourage community participation and bring the lurkers out of the woodwork so that they can contribute as well and help build this growing community.
A good relationship between the whole community and individual is a give and receive. By joining and giving an introduction to the community, the individual can receive all the great resources here for free.
The other benefit is that it will let updates be posted directly to the relevant writeup for easy updating. I spend a minimum of 5 hours a day to keep the information updated and often spend much more than that. As the site grows, this will let the information stay updated more easily. I also think posting a reply to an existing thread is less intimidating than contacting the admin directly by email to fix an error or update the information. Your correction or update will then be added to the first post. This way you don't have to scroll through a million posts to get to the info you want to see.
