Hello,
I am quite new to this site as I found it while doing a recent VW diesel info search. I am finding all the info on this site very valuable, since I recently purchased a 1999 Golf TDI with 190,000KM on it. It has been parked in my garage since I purchased it, because I am doing a bumper to bumper service before putting it on the road.
It's great to have a website like this at my fingertips, thanks for all the valuable contributions.

Welcome, the mileage is high but not super high since it's a 1999. Check out the new owner checklist in the fAQ for some stuff to look over.

Thanks for sugesting that, but I already went through that list and am now preparing to do a timing belt job.
