Hello, Im just looking around about vw diesels, and I am thinking of buying a vw golf tdi or golf gti. and does it make sense, I only drive about 15 miles each way for work and it's mixed driving highway and some city driving to get there. I drive a 2001 toyota corolla at the moment.

What year?

Check out the FAQ for buying guides broken down by generation. 15 miles won't take full advantage of the TDI but that doesn't mean you won't like it. TDI really shine on the highway.
