Just signed up on the forum for the first time. I own a 2006 Jetta TDI DSG. I'm doing all my own maintenance on the car, like plenty of you out there I'm sure. Just getting ready to tackle the timing belt. Picked up the timing belt kit from Roseland Technical Services out of Nova Scotia Canada. Great price excellent quality express shipping. The metal impeller water pump which I also got with the kit is a nice machined peice made in Germany. All parts are high end. I haven't had to do to much on the car yet. It's got 152000 K on it. The usual stuff; breaks, oil and filter, fuel filter, and the not so usual proceedure of serviceing the DSG oil and filter. That was an I opener the first time. I've done it twice since I picked up ther car around 80000K. It's quite easy to do once you got it figured out, like anything else. Well got to get to work. Look forward to being part of the forum.
