I have a 2003 jetta turbo diesel. I bought it used and it gave us some problems in the beginning but has been great for the past 4 years. Love the mileage.

Hi bud, welcometomyturbodies. You can't beat a tdi for the economy to power ratio. :)

New as well.

Got my 2001 a year and a half ago. Mileage is great, but would like to get it even higher. Unfortunately it's just at it's second timing belt change interval now (well 2000 more km's). I have been studying this procedure for several months now, got the parts, made the tools..... now just for a little good weather and... fingers crossed.

You can get these cars remapped for better economy as well as more power. Might be worth looking into if you want more milage per gallon.:)
