Just joined! I have a 05 Jetta Wagon with the BEW engine, it is a great car, but one problem is that in cold weather (-15 C or colder) the engine will not come up to operating temp. I have replaced the thermastat twice, full rad cover, and insulated belly pan, still runs at 60 degrees. Dealer says can't find anything amiss. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Where are you reading the temperature from? The coolant temperature sensor is a common failure point. Are you using G12 coolant or the green stuff or did someone mix it?
