I don't think there's any way to know what percent of Jetta TDI have cam problems but it is a common problem worth mentioning. Some are perfect. Who knows why because some who have stuck with VW's 505.01 engine oil still got worn cams. One person with a good reputation is Wild rose motors in Whittier, CA (562) 946-9000
