My name is Joshua I am in Florence, ky I have a 2006 Jetta TDI. manual This car has been amazingly reliable. At 150,000 miles it needed a new clutch but that has been it other than routine maintainance. but now after 208,000 miles I have a rounded off lobe on the camshaft.
I am thrilled to see other owners pooling there experience. I have done some major engine work... but not to VW's or diesel so the info you guys have gathered is helping my confidence. thanks.

It should be easy...just make sure you have the puller and holder because VW designs them in a way you can't use a regular holder or puller...without damaing the pulley.
