Hi all. I bought the 2002 Golf TDI with 154k miles. Now at 172k, my water pump failed, so I'm digging into it today, replacing the timing belt, water pump, and pulleys. I do not have Vag-com yet, so I may need help setting the timing from anyone near Toledo, OH.

Thanks for all the great info on this website.

You can use the ebay vag com for checking the timing but I suggest getting the genuine cable from ross tech because it lets you do so much more and it comes with a software license. Good luck!
