Hello group. I've never quite gotten the mileage I should out of my '03 Jetta wagon. I think 44 was my best. I've had it for a little over a year and done a few things - replaced intake, cleaned out EGR, replaced all vacuum hoses. The intake made a huge difference in feel, but virtually none in mileage. Car has run fine, at least until a few days ago when I got my first limp mode. Just starting to dig into checking N75, VNT actuator, etc. Boost leak check didn't reveal any obvious issues.

I'm just working my way through the various forums and websites as I check things out, and clearly this forum is a good place to be. I'll try to remember to post on my progress.

Nope, 5 speed. Bearings should be good, I did have one sticking rear caliper but I fixed that several months ago. The fact that I did go into limp mode a couple weeks ago, not to mention a pretty lousy looking turbo request/actual graph, tells me something else is going on.

One question - I tried to actuate the VNT through the "output tests" in the engine controller of VCDS, but the option to select individual tests vs. going through them sequentially is grayed out. And the fuel shut-off valve is right before the N75, which is a little inconvenient. Any idea how to just select the output test I want?
