Hi, Im a new member, My 2005 Golf is sitting at 89,800 miles now. Im trying to plan ahead and study the correct way to replace the timing belt and other components. Im a bit nervous because I have never done a timing belt before but the dealer wants $800 plus tax for it so I will have to take this project on in about 8 to 12 months or so.

800 isn't that bad. $1400 is bad. $600 is cheap.welcometomyturbodies
