New Member seeking BSM opinions

Hi all. I am a 2004 Passat TDI owner looking to quiet the engine down some. After visiting multiple posts on other forums, I am seeking some opinons on balance shaft module replacement. It sounds like the way to go. I am currently getting a strange hum or groan fromn the engine at low RPMs. I have 90,0000 miles at this point. I just thought I would join here and get some opinions. Thanks in advance.
