I traded in my old 2001 VW Jetta Wolfsburg 1.8T two weeks ago and purchased a brand new 2010 VW Jetta TDI. I have owned 3 Volkswagen's in the past , but this is my first TDI. It is a great car and is fun to drive. I am looking forward to me first road trip to see what kind of mileage I can get!welcometomyturbodies

In my opinion, the power of the 2.0 TDI is actually comparable to that of the 1.8T. However, you are probably right though, it probably is the torque. Although I do miss the 1.8T and the Wolfsburg edition itself I think my new TDI is a much better car overall!
