just bought tdi sportwagen. all the bells and whistles. almost 40k. 3k sales tax, 3k warranty. still, no hid lights. usually get 400,000 plus miles out of vw turbo gas engines with no problems. this should be interesting. never worked on a diesel smaller than 2000 hp. power generation. take care, jp

my mistake

$3,000.00 for sales tax. $3,000 for the extended warranty. ABS, AIRBAG, and ASW warning lights ON. took car to dealer. "engineering says "can't drive"". got rental bug. red. told service adviser "i don't want the car. tell VOA take it back". in at 0730, out at 1200. not a happy camper. almost $40,000.00 for a jetta. no hid lights. no auto dimming rear view mirror. walked the lot, bought the most expensive sportwagen on the lot. drew vw in california. like i said, not satisfied with this whole purchase.
