Howdy all,
I recently moved to Tucson and have an 06 VW Golf TDI (I know redundant on a TDI site), and would like to know of a good VW mechanic who:
1. Is trustworthy on my VW
2. Gives me a fair price
3. Can help me maintain my car honestly and with integrity.

First up is the timing belt and water pump. Although I have some experience with the car, I cannot say I would attempt a timing belt due to the consequences if I missed it by a degree. We are at 64000 on the belt and nearing 6 years, so it's time.

Thanks :)

If you use the proper tools it is hard to mess up. FYI, also check for cam wear while you're in there. See the FAQ section for the DIY.
