Just bought a 2005.5 Jetta TDI automatic with 80000 miles for our family car. Changed the timing belt, water pump, tensioner, idler, and serpentine belt. Got parts from dieselgeek.com and tools from metalnerd.com and job went great. Changed oil and filter and fuel filter right away since I had it in the shop. So far so good. I want to thank this website for all the info. I saved a ton of money on parts getting them online compared to ordering them seperate through an auto shop.
