New leather seat covers

Gonna try my hand at new leather seat covers(bought a complete leather interior for my 06 Golf MK4). Was wondering if anyone had done one yet. I have heated, manual, cloth seats. Does anyone know if the heating elements are stitched to the original cloth seats or are they glued to the cushions. Any other advice or tricks would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jeff

It's not that hard but it is time consuming. Use a heat gun to gently shrink the wrinkles out of the corners but don't expect it to be perfect or else you risk burning the leather.

The heater elements are part of the skin, see here for some tips: http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/multi/power-seat-swap.htm
Hair dryer doesn't have enough power, make sure the heat gun has a wide dispersal tip, not a small focused tip, and start w/low setting!
