Hi guys, I have a 2002 Jetta wagon with a sticky VNT actuator (I think). The car has 260k, so I am trying to decide if I should replace the actuator or spring for an entire turbo based on the mileage on it. Any thoughts? Thanks

I would go with a VNT 17 turbo, bigger nozzles, chip tune, new clutch, and big smiles :)

Seriously though, the cheapest way is to fix the least. If you've isolated the problem to ONLY the actuator, replace only that. Much faster/easier than replacing the turbo.

Also, post moved to mk4 section.
