I have a 2000 Jetta with an MFA cluster that is acting up. I bought a stock cluster to replace it with while the MFA is out for repair, but it refuses to sync with the ECU leaving me unable to code my keys to it.

I joined to see if this site might have any more info.

Unfortunately, if you have an immobilizer, you cannot use another cluster unless you input the SKC with VCDS or have the dealer sync the cluster. There are 3rd party tools mentioned in the exclusive resources section which should let you get the SKC to DIY until you get the old cluster back.
