Just completed installing new Colt Cam, Lifters and bearing modification. Did timing belt and all the stuff that goes with that. Car runs fine but now I want to fine tune the cam timing. I have VCDS 10.6 and I don't know where to find cam timing or idle stabilization. Can someone direct me to a link or make some suggestions on this subject? I am also looking for opinions on where the timing should be set to. Thanks, Tim

At second check I see block 4 in VCDS as Ignition timing. I am currently at 1.9 btdc. Chitty, are you set at .5 btdc. I assume neg is after tdc?

before TDC = before the #1 piston reaches the top of its travel. I also recommend a little bit advanced because as the belt ages it will retard slightly.
