Hello everyone, I was wondering if The immobilizer, on a 03 MK4 Jetta 1.9ALH, can be turned off with the Vag com tool? Thanks for any input

As said the immobilizer is set by the ecu, you can't change anything with VAG-COM\VCDS only scan for error codes.

You need to contact a chip tuner they are the only ones that can delete the immobilizer.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out.

This is a new forum layout with loads of bugs which have been reported in the new thread. There is no TDI Wiki at the moment or or original similes. It doesn't show the car spec/location or signature properly either
