I have a 2010 VW TDI 165 marine diesel. Have performed service but cannot reset SERViCE alarm. Can this be done without plug-in diagnostic equipment?

On a 2010 VW TDI automobile, you would press and hold the trip reset button (right side of gauge cluster), turn the key to the on/run position (do not start) then momentarily press the clock button (left side of gauge cluster) then let go of the trip reset button and turn the ignition off. To verify it was reset, simply turn the key back to the on position and the reminder should not activate.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, marine engines don’t have clock! There is
1. Alarm Light
2. Display Brightness
3. Engine Alarm Clear Switch
4. Multi-function Selector Arrow
That’s all! Perhaps there is another RESET sequence.
