Dear all,

greatings from Germany. While looking for information and hints concerning the problems with my Passat MYTURBODIESEL.com is the best site for VW Diesels I found up to now.

Since one year I drive the Passat from 2001. After normal acceleration the engine is turning into limp home. From the nominal 131 HP about 50 are still present. The failure memory of the ECU noticed: Max pressure of turbocharger has been overrun. Maybe after 150000 km the charger has been sooted.
Does anybody know which peripheral parts are involved in the steering of the boost pressure regulation?
