Maintenance records at an Audi dealership to 55k. Diesel fix was done already. CarFax shows no accidents (but we know that not everything is reported). Since this is the TDI forum, I figured I'd ask the professionals if I should consider the vehicle. (I had a 2012 Q7 TDI but sold it before it reached 40k miles, but miss the solid tank-like feel of the car.) I see a lot of the Q7 TDI's showing up for sale (post diesel fix) and am wondering if I should pick one up. Also, should I bother trying to purchase an extended (used car) warranty? Or would it not cover what would most likely go wrong with the car anyway? Are there any recommendations for companies that will sell a used car warranty that has decent coverage for a high mileage vehicle? Thanks for your input!

There are plenty of Audi Q7 owners on here, look or search the thread.

Look in TDI Wiki but there is nothing listed for Audi Q5 or Q7?

Which engine size are you after as the Audi Q7 uses a few, 2.0 3.0 3.6 4.0 4.2 6.0 they aren't all TDI.
