Working on a 2003 Jetta timing belt installation. Anyone know the torque value for the idler roller? Thanks.

Welcome! The torque value is in the writeup for the ALH engine, which is the engine that you have on your 2003.

Since there are 3 rollers, I don't know which one you're talking about. Here are all 3:
upper timing belt roller bolt (small): 15 ft-lb
lower timing belt roller nut (small): 16 ft-lb
lower timing belt roller bolt (large): 30 ft-lb +1/4 turn

Those torque settings aren't given on my Beetle 1,9D TDI 1998-04 Engine code: ALH timing belt change for the guide rollers? I know its a Beetle but the engine code is still ALH.

Where is the writeup for the ALH engine chitty? ;)
