Golf VII 2014 1.6 TDI.
I have been having a proglem with morning long crank. Every next fire up the engine stars right away. Outside temp no relevant. A new battery swapped.
Below some diagostic videos made with vcds.

Still it is not the longest crank I have been sufering from.
No ideoa where problem is.
Could You point any irregularities on vcds videos?

I’m not sure if this would help & if you have this in your model motor but give it a shot

Small updade. I have been testing - according to mechanic \s advice with outside temperature. Above 15 celcius (16 and up) long crank appears. Lower than 15 no long crank. Don't know what else to diagnose on vcds.

Coolant Temp Sensor bad ?

How to diagnose it? No idea how to deal with it. I have vcds by the way.

One thing you can try is just disconnect the coolant temp sensor in the morning and see if it starts better or check your coolant temperature by using your VCDS & compared to what the gauge in the car says
