Not complete, and it still needs a lot of fleshing out, but this should help answer some questions about the immobilizer 2 and 3. Expect it to be edited a lot in the future since it needs to be organized.

Well, it was an unconfirmed report, but I wanted to included all possibilities, even the remote ones. The immo chip is a passive RFID chip as far as I know.

Using a microwave near your computer will degrade a 2.4 gHz wireless connection because they are on a similar frequency.

I would not be surprised if the RFID could possibily be affected by a wireless connection. And it's pretty well known that putting the key in the microwave will destroy the rfid chip by "over exciting" the chip and giving it too much current. It's the same idea as putting too much electricity through a thin wire.

i just heard in the news that rfid chips can cause tumors....so implanting a vw key under your skin is probably a bad idea...
