Hi everyone
I just changed the engine on my 99 passat tdi as the sump was damaged it lost oil and ruined the engine. the new engine doesn't have an oil level sensor. Does anyone know how I can disable the light I don't have vag.com

It is built into the sump but the non-sensor sumps have a casting spot where you can cut it out and attach the sensor. We didn't have the sensor here so I'm not sure how it's attached but I know where it goes because they're all cast out of the same mold....or as you may call it, a moulde?

Mechanic pushed a bit of wire into the outside holes on the plug taped it up plugged in a scanner type tool and relieved me of €75.00!
