I posted here earlier about a similar topic and yup I do still have that car but it has changed since the last time, last time it had over 300 thousand miles (almost three years ago)
jumping to 2020 my engine has new piston rings and ported head and new camshaft bearings, I need some help turbocharging it please (I know I better off getting a TDI instead but it's not as easy as it sounds in Israel)
so what parts do I need
I bought a used Turbo with the exhaust manifold (Garrett gt1749v) off of a low mileage wrecked TDI of some sort Also I bought a FMIC
so what else will I need? I'm not planning on shooting for high horsepower (100-110 should do)
my Engine code is AQM and it has Oil feed and return ports for adding a turbo.
also, will I need an Intake manifold or it's possible to use the stock plastic one that goes over the valve cover? and how about the ECU?

P.S I am willing to spend the required money, I like my car and I'm not thinking of selling it

First posts normally go in introductions else you could get a free fix and we never see you again!!!

Or even 7th post.

Forum Rules and Guidelines

This is a new forum layout which is owned by a company 6 months ago that doesn't give a dam with loads of bugs which have been reported in the new thread. There is no TDI Wiki at the moment or original similes. It doesn't show the car spec/location.

We Are Live - Community Feedback

This has been talked about many times.

I've made a poll which no one has posted in, there are a few votes and comments.

Do you like the new forum features?

Wiki pages have been restored as of 7th December, I asked where is the link it should be on top of the main forum.

As you say you have made many post about your similar problems.
