How to swap TDI into mk1

Great idea, 70 mpg! Too bad it's not a turn key thing, too much for me.

I'd love to do some project like this some day but after paint, body, paying someone else to do it I couldn't justify it at all

Awesome! 2nd the safety features but that was part of why cars used to be so light. They were so much tighter on the inside too. A new Golf is like a Lincoln inside compared to those older ones.

When did they have a Topgear USA? Is this from the same people who have Topgear UK? I've heard of Topgear Australia but no USA.

Adam Carolla was going to host it on NBC but the show has been cut.

Cool project though. Hopefully we can get some top gear in the states.

What is the status on Top Gear? I heard it was getting picked up on cable but no further news.

Top gear season 13 is playing on the UK. You can find episodes on torrents. Good think they did cut it since it would dilute the brand. You can't copy the show since it's about the interaction between the hosts. It's not a car show, it's an entertainment show with cars.
