Hello: I am thinking of purchasing a 2010 Jetta TDI in Toronto, Canada. Unfortunately in Canada you cannot option the car with the RNS 510 Nav unit. Where can i purchase this unit and would i require a special adapter or wiring harness to change from a RDS 510?

There are some vendors listed in the FAQ

You should also be able to order it from a dealer. You can buy wiring harness adapters to make it plug-play with some vag com magic.

Here is a bluetooth unit better than what comes stock on the Jetta:

Call kufatec or go to kufatec.de, they are a German company and are supposed to have good english.

I saw that site before too, FYI, most of their Jetta stuff is under the Golf menu. Any sportwagen stuff is under Golf Variant.

Get it, I've seen great reviews on it. There are aftermarket/OEM add-ons like backup cameras, DVD play option while moving, good stuff. Better than a Garmin stuck to the windshield.
