I've owned mine from new and bought it on 1st august 2003 so that's 7 1/2 years almost.
A lot of people go into a panic:panic: once the cars warranty expires and buy a new one.
How about you?

Our present ALH-engine TDIs are up to 642700 and 501200 km (that's 399355 and 311431 miles for you Imperial Measurement folks)... Our previous TD Jettas lasted until approximately 702500 and 708200 km... (That's about 436513 and 440055 miles)... We expect the current pair to last longer than that...

WOW! That's some milage! I guess that comes with living in such a big country. I've only done 109,000 miles but with diesel at $8.50(and rising rapidly) a gallon in the UK you cant blame me hey!

Well I kept my last one for 16 years and the one before that 7 years. My philosophy on cars is if it does the job its supposed to then why keep changing them every few years? I think this one will see me out. ;)

I just keep buying worn out cars and not having them long but I've stuck with this one for almost two years now which is a long time for me.
