Hello all. 1st noob post
My intentions are to keep it till the car dies or I die.
My last car I had lasted 18years, and all ihad to do to it was general maintenance and service. I expect to get the same out of this car also.

This is key. You can't neglect maintenance on these cars. They've had some common problems like dead MAFs and some DSG owners aren't happy but generally speaking people keep buying VWs for some reason:thumbsup
