I have a 2005 Passat TDI 2.0l. I used to have a 99 Passat with the 1.8l Turbo. I know on the spark plug engine the rev limiter kicked in by progressively killing the spark to the cylinders at or near red line. What is the method used on the TDI to limit the engine at redline? Or is there one? Thanks for indulging a newbie question.
