Hi! I'm Carmaster7! I'm new here! I'm from Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada! Actually me and my wife own a 2001 Beetle Stock! And I'm looking towards buying a Jetta TDI myself since the gas price here in Quebec is FU..ING high! But I actually have a problem with the beetle, I barely make 800 km (500 miles) per tank because I have to keep the pedal to the metal since I have a major lack of power!
I change the fuel filter, the air filter, and I inspected the wastegate actuator and it works fine!
But still no power and no check engine light! I will clean the intake around june (because i have no time off right now to do that! If anybody have any Idea to help I will take every single advice in consideration!
Thank you!

Check the intake manifold for clogging and datalog boost, MAF sensors, and injection timing. This can tell you if the engine is working normally. Also take a look in the FAQ section for the article on low power troubleshooting, most of the possible causes of low power are in there.
