Hello, I'm new here as I bought my B5 Passat Estate today.

I believe it needs work on the vacuum/turbo/valve system as it seems a bit sluggish at high revs.

This site seems excellent so far so hopefully it will prove helpful!

Welcome! Check out the low power FAQ article, there are many troubleshooting tips in there. I don't know what engine you have but it should be similar.

Check out the intake for sludge, it's fairly common and sucks the top end power out, have you scanned it for codes at all?
