Hi Newbie here Martin is the name sticky vane/stiff actuator is the game any advice on easy way to fix appreciated.....

I would disconnect the actuator first and see if the vanes move freely on the turbo, just check how easily the lever moves. What sort of problem are you having? Is the car going into limp mode? Do you have any fault codes? And what engine's in your toledo?:)

Have tried disconnecting actuator but cant get to the circlip from above or underneath (with car on axle stands) 10mm movement rather than 10cm, car in limp mode for few weeks getting really annoyed on motorway getting overtaken by lorries! code 17964 Charge Pressure Control Negative Deviation P1556-35-10 -- Intermittent, have checked for leaks all looks ok, engine ASV, silver tolly tdi SE.
