I have a 2004 Jetta, BEW, manual, 135K miles. I am inspecting my camshaft. I see the posted pictures of camshafts, but I can not judge if the camshaft is good or not on my car.
Thanks to all who make this an informative site.

I thought all the edges felt the same. The bevels all looked similar. I don't have enough exprience to know the difference between a good one and bad one.
I tried taking a picture, but the resolution was not very good.
I am now able to rotate the crank and I have a better view of the cam closest to the timing belt. The loss of the bevel on the lobe is obvious.
I did the TB at 100K and I have alignment tool. Is the other tool the cam sprocket puller?
Do you know the thread of the screws that screw into camshaft spocket that are part of T10052 the camshaft sprocket puller?
