Please may I say helloe to everyone and say a big thanks for all the very helpful information on this site. I hope to be able to contributr and help in the future, I own 2 diesel cars (A VW Sharan, our 4th) a Ford Focus Tdi, 2 petrol sports cars (MGB 1975 and an MG TF 2006) and have 2 motor bikes, both BMWs, one a R100CS (1982) the other a BMW F650 (1998). My hobbies are home mechancicing and fixing things.

MGB? Those are great cars. I looked into a Triumph Spitfire but alas, I decided it just wasn't practical. The Miata is the modern MGB.

I have had an interest in motorcycles all my life. My last one was a 1978 Suzuki GS750 with a Yoshimura 850 kit with R&T cams. I had it from new and I sold it 12 years ago with 76k on the clock, it clocked up more miles abroad than at home. When I go on holiday I always hire motor bikes.
