Hey everybody on here! I'm brand new to the forum and I'm glad to be a part of it. I'm currently in the middle of doing the timing belt on my 2004 Jetta PD. The timing belt how to on here is amazing, I really appreciate the info! So far so good!

Probably a good idea to inspect the camshaft while you're there, preferably before you take the belt off.:) (Which you probably have by now)

Thank for the heads up seatman! I actually dont have the belt off just yet. I was going to inspect the camshaft but didn't know it's best with the belt still on. Tomorrow I will get right to that before I take the belt off. Again, thanks for the heads up!
