I figure the management and many members already know who I am, so a detailed introduction is probably not necessary.

We have a 2009 Touareg TDI which has been flawless so far, and one of my guys has a 2009 Jetta TDI which has been good, except for a couple of check-engine lights, one related to the filter, and one related to an O2 sensor; minor stuff really.

Windows 7 is fully supported and has been since it was released. I suppose we forgot to update the Micro-CAN page. I'll take care of that shortly.

As far as the chassis type, the following applies to cars world-wide:

All Golf platform cars (A5/A6 platform) including:
2004+ VW Golf/Rabbit/GTI (1K chassis)

Your vin has "1K" as the 7th and 8th digits, right?

The other entry that you refer to applies only to North American market cars, where for some reason VW no longer uses "1K" in the 7th and 8th digits of the VIN, although they are still 1K-chassis cars.

Anyway, the Micro-CAN will work on your 2010 Golf GTD.
