Hello - Southern California Jetta TDI Guy

Been reading the great info here and now registered.

Doing the TB replacement today on my 2002 Jetta TDI. I'm ready to remove the passenger side engine mount.

The engine mount was a bit of a struggle - in the process of removing the TB - I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Something would like to get some feedback on. I've had my valve cover off for a couple of days now.
Not sure if this could cause a problem. I'm had it covered with a plastic sheet to prevent FOD (plastic sheet not making contact with the engine).

I'm doing the TB after work; may take one or two more days.

Great suggestions. Plastic is a thick poly bag - not making any contact really.

I'm located in S. California (the OC) no rain low humidity currently.

Got to go the day job now.
