Hey, guys, I have owned a 2006 Jetta TDI for a few years now. I have tackled the DMF out the gate when I first purchased it about a few months in. I had some small issues here and there but now I have the camshaft issue. I am going to tackle it tomorrow on Sunday if I can. I am quite mechanically inclined but do not have a VAGCOM, squinting as I say this, is it possible to put everything right back how I found it and walk away clean? I have done a few timing belts and head swaps in my day but never anything that required VAGCOM.

Welcome to the forum.

Its nice to see you made an intro on your own. ;)

This is a new forum layout with loads of bugs which have been reported in the new thread. There is no TDI Wiki at the moment or original similes. It doesn't show the car spec/location or signature properly either

We Are Live - Community Feedback

This has been talked about many times.

I've made a poll which no one has posted in, there are a few votes and comments.

Do you like the new forum features?

Wiki pages have been restored as of 7th December, I asked where is the link it should be on top of the main forum.

Hi, you don’t need vagcom for camshaft.
