hope everyone is doing well.
i found this site with the timing belt write up so i joined seems like a great place for info. i bought my wife a 01 vw jetta tdi weve got 236,000 miles on it and im in the middle of doing a timing belt!
The car does not have any mods yet but it will soon hope everyone has a great new years!

Welcome! Take a look through the new owner's checklist for a list of other stuff to look over on the car. It'll probably need all fluids and filters.

It amazes me our many miles you American guys have on your motors. Those mileages aren't the norm in the UK whether they have been clocked we don't know. I know you cover a lot of miles in the US.
