Hello everyone, my first post here - looks like this is a great place. My car is a 1.9PD Alhambra, same as VW Sharan. No real problems in 2 years of ownership, and have replaced lots of worn out suspension and brake parts. I'm working up to a timing belt change so any advice is greatly appreciated.

The timing belt isn't to bad, I found it more of a challenge trying to do the front right brake pipe, what a design, hide it all up the back behind the engine, also known as under the dash lol, that's an S reg one though. You should be fine doing that car especially with the pd engine, you don't have to time the pump or anything, it's just the cam and crank. This jetta/bora pd timing belt faq should get you in the right direction.:)
