Had similar problem with my Golf.
Experienced motor engineer had it for a week, came up with the same code.
He went through all he could, the turbo wasn't sticking and eventually handed the car back without a bill, as he couldn't locate the fault and wasn't prepared to fix things that weren't broke.
Which is very unusual these days of garage sharks.
In the end I gave it a good long hot run on the motorway, kept the revs high and buried my foot in the carpet, really gave it a good blow out.
Car ran a lot better after that and didn't go into limp mode.
Be a bit harder on the engine, you won't damage it as long as engine up to temperature and all levels are OK
