Hello and a couple of newbie questions...

Hi All,

I am the proud new owner of a 1994 Audi 80, which has the 1.9TDI 1Z engine.
I was directed here by the "Dagdag" section of the S2forum (I also own an S2).

After 140,000 miles, the engine feels a bit tired, and my initial thoughts are to have a go at cleaning the intake manifold and EGR valve (or possibly blank this off completely?)

I have tried a search, but cant find exactly what I'm looking for, which is how-to's on :-

Intake manifold removal and cleaning;
EGR cleaning or deleting.
