New to the forum. Right now I'm in the middle of replacing the timing belt and water pump on a 2006.5 Jetta TDI. The car has over 100,00 miles and I thought it was a good idea to replace it. So far so good.

I bought the crank positioning tool from Metalnerd. That tool appears to be a must have for this job. The only thing that is confusing me is how to set the proper tension with the new timing belt tensioner. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.
