Anybody out there tried the VW rear window shades. With all that black inside the mk6 it gets hot inside. VW's asking alot for them so I'd like some feed back.

We bought these for our 2011 tdi JSW as my wife did not want window tinting in her car. I bought the two sets to cover all 5 windows in the back of the JSW. Expense yes but I'm very please with the quality of them, fitment and ez of installation and removal. From the outside of the car you can't even notice them once installed.

Very clean design VW and were very happy with the tdi JSW inside window shades.

Thanks very much for the report. I think I'll just start w/ the two side windows (2 dr) & see what I think. I've heard the fit is xlnt. THANKS AGAIN!

For the VW shades, I saw a couple of threads in another forum (links below) with great reviews and in the photos they looked great in the car and had a great fit. There are even some DIY install videos.

So, do these work on the JSW rear door windows? And do they have the same gadgets for the rear rear fixed windows on the Sportwagen? There is no "Jetta Sportwagen" option on the Driversgear site...
